In traditional animation, animators attach drawings to peg bars, then move the drawings down the line of pegs, and film the drawing in each peg position. This helps create transitions that support the illusion of motion.

In Toon Boom Studio, you can also use pegs to create motion, as well as other changes over time. Toon Boom Studio interpolates the effects you design with pegs to create realistic changes while maintaining the quality of your drawings.
